Construction NQs: Move to a Renowned City Firm – September 2019 Qualifiers

Our client is an esteemed City firm that is on a recruitment drive into its Construction team.

The team largely addresses non-contentious matters.  From a non-contentious perspective, associates advise on procurement strategies and regeneration initiatives in addition to the negotiation and approval of development agreements, construction & engineering contracts, and partnering agreements. Most of the projects that are addressed by the team are carried out under contracts in line with FIDIC, JCT and NEC rules and regulations.  There is scope for carrying out contentious work, and the team works on construction disputes under the framework of litigation or arbitration.

Considering the diversity and range of work on offer, the team advises a host of contractors, commercial developers, tenants and financial organisations across numerous industry sectors, including engineering, construction, transport and hotels to name a few.

The successful candidate will have up to 6 months of Construction experience, either gained during a training contract seat or post-qualification at an established firm in London or any other regional hub.  Non-contentious Construction experience to some degree is essential, so the firm are keen to hear from candidates that have done a split seat in Construction or an entirely non-contentious seat.  Applications are welcome from trainees that are due to qualify in September 2019.
