Exclusive: In-House Head of Legal opportunity. This is a brilliant opportunity to work within an industry leading creative media company who have undertaken substantial growth over recent years. You will be working with the largest broadcasting companies in the UK and globally.

Due to substantial growth, this company are looking to form a new Head of Legal position to accommodate their increased Commercial matters.

The Company

This innovative leading localisation company are a global provider for all language needs, offering Dubbing, Voice and over and subtitle service to the largest Media broadcasting companies in the UK and globally. As one if the standard fast-growing businesses in the last 3 years, this vibrant media outfit have. Headquartered in London, this family feel, open planned environment combines the progressive culture of New-age media hub with professionalism, allowing their staff to have a dress down culture.

You will work in 1 of their 22 'state of the art facilities', working within a diverse workforce which totals upwards of 100 people. Their expert teams possess in-depth knowledge and cultural understanding of global brands.

Due to large growth, this company are looking to hire a standalone Head of Legal to support them in their ever-expanding company. You will be part of a growing project, offering In-house services in the heart of the West End.

The Role

This is a stand out opportunity for a Head of Legal to work within this Media company in their state of the art West End, London office.

You will be delivering legal services and supporting the board with project work overseeing complex legal matters across both contentious and non-contentious issues.

You will be the main point of contact within VSI on all major legal and compliance issues and ongoing projects on all major IP and Commercial Issues. This will include but will not be excluded to New brand acquisitions, large scale innovation projects, IP and Commercial Disputes and Litigation, Major marketing campaigns, compliance including regulatory and competition, reputation management.

You will also be delivering/reviewing commercial agreements and the protection of the global business IP Portfolio. As this firm is a growing company, having Mergers and Acquisitions experience would be advantageous but not essential.

The Requirements

  • A UK qualified solicitor with over 3 years PQE experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to work alongside the Managing director and board of directors.
  • This position is paying up to £75k, with a discretionary bonus.
