Job Details

Our client, a leading debt fund are seeking an interim Corporate Legal Counsel for a 9-12-month FTC. The ideal candidate will have substantial corporate commercial legal counsel experience and will be available to start by August.

A guide on responsibilities will include to;

  • Assist with general corporate matters relating to the Fund (including intra-group reorganisations, services agreements, intellectual property matters, corporate transactions etc.)
  • Draft and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to the Fund and provide advice regarding the same
  • Assist with drafting and negotiating documentation with investors, clients and advisors including investor side letters, investment management agreements and NDA’s
  • Assist with Employment matters as they arise, providing support to HR as required.
  • Support legal aspects of the management of projects relating to regulatory or legislative change and provide internal legal advice in relation to privacy/data protection matters
  • Support the conduct of processes regarding disputes and investigations
  • Build relationships with and work alongside teams within the business and liaise with Legal, Compliance, HR, Company Secretarial and Risk professionals worldwide

Asset / investment management experience would be desirable but not essential.
