IT/Commercial Counsel, Leading High Street Fashion Retailer

This leading international retailer has an opportunity for a Commercial/Tech lawyer to join its highly regarded legal team.

You will have key responsibility for large IT negotiations with global software vendors and service providers as well as managing and negotiating large outsourcing and procurement transactions for the international business. You will have full responsibility for negotiating and managing Cloud agreements   and you will manage the technology contracts for the global supply chain system. You will also be involved with more general commercial matters including franchising and IP contracts, marketing, supply and distribution and e-commerce.

You will work closely with the IT team and you will have direct access to senior management.

A strong IT/commercial contracts background is key, along with experience negotiating with the large IT players in the global market. Experience with Cloud agreements, e-commerce and data privacy is also essential. You will ideally have previous in-house experience but strong IT experience is more important. You must be able to work well with the wider business, including senior management, answering queries on the spot and updating senior management.
