PLANNING 7yrsPQE TO PARTNER
Planning lawyer required at Associate to Partner level for the Leeds office of this national brand.
Our client is a national firm with good rankings in the Legal 500 and a full spread of expertise for commercial clients, Real Estate being a large national group and representing a substantial part of the firms commercial offering. The firm acts for a broad range of clients, including plcs's but also large regional businesses and SME's. On the planning front the work will be property support and also standalone planning instructions. Ideal candidates will do both non-contentious and also contentious planning work and be comfortable day to day working without close supervision. The firm has impressive expansion plans both in the Planning Law capability in the real estate group and nationally and so presents a substantial platform for an ambitious candidate. Lateral hires at Partner level will be considered on their merits as partnership rightly has a value for this firm and so isn't something which will be cheaply awarded to attract someone who doesn't meet the necessary criteria.
You will be part of a tight team with a good atmosphere and so self confidence and having a willingness to get involved with the real estate teams marketing activities is important. This represents a great opportunity for a candidate wanting a credible brand with capability and in a firm which seems to have captured momentum in the Leeds market.
This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Planning Lawyer looking for more light touch management than might be found in some of the Top 20 firms in Leeds and which is keen for the successful applicant to develop their own profile in the role. The firm want you to bring your ideas and contacts and will support you in growing your practice, and the opportunities for progression are obvious.
A significant opportunity for a Planning Law candidate looking for a good deal of autonomy with a fantastic brand in Leeds.
Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
