Do you aspire to becoming a Legal Counsel with UK wide influence for a market leading global engineering group? This role would suit a Commercial Lawyer with a strong background and experiences with the willingness to learn and to communicate legal advice across departments. This opportunity is based in an impressive, modern and forward-thinking office based in central London.
This business work on International projects across all areas of engineering. The business is a global consulting engineering firm with staff across eleven offices employing over 500 people and offering services for client's individual needs across all types of projects.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a Legal Counsel and run the Legal department for the whole of the UK.
You will work closely with a highly qualified lawyer and a senior paralegal in support of your work.
Reporting to the General Counsel who travels frequently between the constituent offices internationally.
You will also work closely with another counsel who provides advice across Asia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Australia.
You will handle all manner of Commercial Contracts - Joint venture agreements, drafting and negotiating professional service agreements, review requests to tender and assist the general counsel with share disposals and acquisitions.
You will have a good level of general commercial experience and not be afraid to get your hands dirty and provide advice across departments.

The Requirements
- You will be a Commercial Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE
- You will have strong communication skills
- You will have a pragmatic approach to your work
- In House experience is not essential
