Construction NQ Solicitor - Manchester

Our client is a truly outstanding international law firm with strong roots in the local Manchester market.

The firm has an exceptional reputation for its large scale projects and construction work which includes its leading litigation and dispute resolution team as well as its transactional construction offering. The specialist construction team, has an international and complex construction litigation capability as well as providing non-contentious advice. It is expected at NQ level that candidates will have a broad diet of contentious and non contentious work.

The construction team has good balance in terms of its structure but has the appetite to grow at NQ level in Manchester. The firm will consider March 2019 NQ's as well as September 2019 NQ's interested in transferring over on qualification.

Ideally you will have a good academic record and be a seat as a construction NQ or within Projects/PFI or professional negligence.
 
Whilst they are open to looking at those with either a contentious and non-contentious background, you will need to have an appetite to retain a mix moving forward. At the more junior end they are flexible enough to consider anyone with a real interest in this area, provided they have a strong academic pedigree and have undertaken a training contract with a commercial firm.

The team have also had past success at the more junior end with those that have trained from within a professional negligence background where the focus has been on surveyors or construction negligence so if you have that experience but want to wider your horizons on national and international construction work then we are keen to hear from you.
