Job Details
This is an unusual and exciting opportunity for a seasoned white collar crime lawyer to be at the forefront of this US firm's London practice, which is seeking a lead partner to represent clients before the SFO/FCA, advise on internal investigations on behalf of corporate clients and conduct complex often multi-jurisdictional investigations into corporate corruption.
This team is a global team, joining and working closely with the States, Asia and also Europe and would suit someone who is comfortable working on large investigations and wants to work in a pre-eminent practice, which is highly regarded as one of the cornerstone practices of the firm.
This is a well respected and collegiate firm, often described as having a genial culture, with a strong regulatory and contentious bent to their practices. This would suit someone either coming from private practice with a strong reputation in white collar crime work, or from the SFO/FCA with an intent to develop a practice at a law firm. Evidence of an entreprenuerial nature is required, but the firm is fully supportive of the development of a practice.
