Corporate Solicitor - Junior & Senior Levels

Our client is a leading Manchester based corporate practice with a reputation for the quality of its work but also for its user friendly service. What does that mean? Well, put simply they work closely with clients and provide clear commercial advice - not the sit on the fence kind, the real on the ground business advice. 

The Corporate team handle a broad profile of mergers and acquisitions and continue to evolve into specific sectors further increasing the size and scale of work they attract. 

The corporate team has a number of partners and strong support but the influx of new work and pipeline of deals has brought forward the business case to recruit.

It might sound that there is no clear idea on recruitment though this is more by design as the team are confident that they have space, workflow and can recruit at any number of levels. As such they don't want to restrict interest in them by reference to PQE.

Having said that and intended as a guide only and in reality the team are open to talking to anyone from 1 year PQE to Junior Partner level. The work is there at both levels and there is scope for all to succeed.

In the latter instance they are keen to speak to any capable corporate lawyer who might be frustrated at their route to partnership and want to progress. This is a firm that can kick that on and it isn't an absolute to be bringing a following of work. Certainly you will need to be able to interact with clients in a friendly and commercial way as well as be keen to play a part in business development.
