We are working for a diversified group of professional services companies operating globally. We are recruiting an additional lawyer OR compliance professional to join the in-house team in Central London, in a data protection focussed role.

The role will cover day to day implementation of data protection best practice across all the different businesses in the Group, for example data audits and data protection impact assessments, identifying suspected data breaches and incidents and negotiating data processing terms. You will also get involved in more strategic initiatives, such as "privacy by design" projects, adapting tech platforms across the business to optimise best practice.

We are looking for either bright junior data protection lawyers or more experienced compliance professionals from in-house backgrounds (eg. from banking or commerce and industry). You do not need much prior DP experience but the interest and enthusiasm to build this up. You will enjoy being practical and interactive and the office culture is friendly and relaxed offering a very good work/life balance.
