OUR CLIENT
A global name in the software industry, seeks to recruit a lawyer c 3 - 6 PQE with a strong commercial/technology background to join an established City based in house legal department.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating software licenses, maintenance, distribution and service agreements in addition to providing support on transactional matters.
The post holder will be expected to work alongside the business and management teams, advising on both commercial and legal issues, working as a trusted adviser with responsibility for negotiating contracts, advising on IP issues, risk management and management of disputes.
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this exceptional business facing role, applicants must have sound technical skills, experience of handing licensing and commercial transactions - preferably Cloud, SaaS and more general IT matters.
The role is broad ranging and very business focused, ideally suited to a candidate with a strong commercial in house background.
