In-House Counsel – Head of Compliance/Regulation- Innovative Technology Business – 6+ pqe - London

Our client, an innovative and growing tech company in London, is looking to hire a Head of Compliance/Regulation. Reporting into the Group GC, this role will be firmly embedded within the business, and will involve overseeing a team of around 6 compliance and certification professionals.

This is a new role, and as such offers the right candidate the chance to develop and grow a comprehensive compliance and regulatory framework for a very dynamic and developing business. This role’s remit will include overseeing and advising on;

Health & Safety matters
International regulatory product approval and certification, and advising on relevant legislative requirements across a range of businesses
Privacy / GDPR issues
Environmental and quality control certifications and requirements

Our client is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 6 years’ pqe who has advised on regulatory and compliance matters, and also ideally someone who has prior management experience. Whilst you would not be expected to have experience in all of the above areas, you will be confident and entrepreneurial in nature, and someone who is able to operate autonomously and strategically, in a fast-paced environment.
