THE FIRM

A highly regarded law firm with several offices across the country providing a comprehensive range of services for business and individual clients.

The Housing Management team act for a large number of Registered Providers of Social Housing on all aspects of their housing functions including possession actions, antisocial behaviour, leasehold queries and policy and procedure work.

THE ROLE

You will be a solicitor or legal executive with a wealth of experience of working in Social Housing to become an integral part of a highly regarded team, playing a key part in delivering an excellent level of service to their clients and building your legal career accordingly.

You will:

  • demonstrate talent, ambition and a real interest in the social housing sector with the ability to manage some work with minimal supervision.
  • provide advice and representation in respect of a wide range of areas to include Anti-social behaviour, Injunctions & Possession, Disrepair, Leasehold & Service Charges, Equality Act and Human Rights matters, and on all areas impacting on RP's housing management function.
  • represent clients in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
  • provide excellent client care and skills to develop and foster continuing relationships.

The client will invest in your career, and help you to become a recognised expert in your own right. You will have plenty of one-to-one development and encouragement from your supervising partner, and the wider team.

The client will ensure that you receive a good level of client contact and early responsibility.

ABOUT YOU

With 1pqe or more you will have gained extensive experience in social housing and are now seeking further challenges with the potential to become a big name in Housing Management.

You will be able to use your initiative, and be a forward-planner, anticipating your clients' needs in advance wherever possible.

The ability to work as part of a friendly team and deliver excellent client service at all times is also essential to this role.

You will demonstrate talent, ambition and a real interest in the social housing sector. The client expects you to have built up enough experience to be able to manage some work with minimal supervision.

Advocacy experience will be advantageous, but is not essential. Most importantly you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to adapt your style to communicate effectively with a wide range of professional people, and enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality service to your clients.
