The role
Due to strategic growth, the firm are seeking to hire a Planning Lawyer into their Colchester office.
You will work as part of a highly ranked legal 500 team. The team is busy and has had an influx of new work, making now an exciting time to join.
The Planning team covers the full remit of planning matters, from planning obligations, highways and infrastructure, community infrastructure levy, lawful development certificates and supporting other teams in the firm on property acquisitions and disposals, to contentious planning matters such as enforcement, compulsory purchase, judicial reviews, statutory challenges, and appeals.
You will find a real level of variety to the work, making for an interesting role. You will receive an excellent level of exposure, and given their level of growth, good prospects are in abundance.
Requirements
- You will be a Planning Lawyer with between 2-6 years PQE
- You will have experience at a Legal 500 ranked department
- Strong academics are essential
- First class communication skills are essential
- Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an industry leading benefits package
