Corporate & Commercial- Head of Department - Cambridge

Fast Track to partnership for ambitious lawyers looking to move into senior positions.

A legal 500 and Chambers listed firm is looking to recruit a corporate lawyer to lead the development of their corporate department.

Based in their central Cambridge office the successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 5 years experience of working within corporate and commercial law. You will become the head of your own department and be responsible for the corporate & commercial work coming into the team as well as working to develop the department further. No following is required for this role, although any contacts you have developed during your time in practice would be beneficial.

This is by no means a standing start role however the firm sees corporate & Commercial as very much an area and department they would like to grow and hope that they will be able to develop a team around you as time progresses and new business is generated.

Due to this the role would suit someone with a good track record of business development who is confident with that side of things. It may be of particular interest to lawyers that cannot see this type of progression for themselves at their current role and want to find an ambitious and progressive firm to forward their careers. You may be a Cambridge based lawyer or perhaps a lawyer based in London looking to find a role around Cambridgeshire

A good salary (which will be based on experience) will be paid as part of a good package which includes things such as pension, private health insurance and much more.
