Job Details
A unique and exciting opportunity to be the first in-house lawyer for this rapidly growing technology platform which serves the Healthcare industry. Founded in 2012 with more than 1000 employees the company has offices around the globe and after a series of acquisitions and successful financing rounds the business is now of scale to accommodate a global Head of Legal.
Based out of either Barcelona or Warsaw the role will help establish the in-house legal function, reporting into the CFO and supporting the management team and business on their ambitious growth plans.
Day to day the role will coordinate with external legal counsel in various jurisdictions as well as advising on all manner of legal issues (commercial, regulatory, data privacy, managing the IP portfolio, Employment, M&A, litigation etc.)
The successful candidate should have at least 5 years of post qualified experience* and have the appropriate drive, enthusiasm and flexibility to work in a highly changeable fast-paced environment. Prior experience within a start-up is a bonus and generalist experience is a must (with data protection experience being highly beneficial).
The role will require fairly regular travel across Europe and internationally with some home working options near the offices in Spain or Poland.
