Your new company
You will be joining a highly experienced Tier 1 Employment team who are extremely well regarded for providing advice to both Employers and Employees alike. The team work alongside other departments including Litigation, Commercial and Real Estate. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising, drafting, negotiating, advocacy and support across the department on larger cases. Your position within the department will also involve assisting the firms online HR resource, participation in initiatives and supporting the business development with both internal and external events. There will be a very healthy mix of work in the contentious and non-contentious matters.

Your new role
You will be responsible for providing employment and immigration support for the department and wider HR consulting branch. The firm is keen to appoint an Employment paralegal to deal with all types of employment transactions including both contentious and non contentious related employment related matters. The workload will be varied and will include advising on TUPE, wrongful dismissal, redundancy, breach of contract and discrimination. This position would suit an Employment Paralegal who is looking to take that next step up in their career and enhance their profile within the employment sector. Suitable Employment Paralegals will have excellent business manner and networking skills to develop the employment department further.

What you'll need to succeed
You should have excellent academics (ABB or above) along with legal qualifications (2:1 or above) and previous practical employment paralegal experience. Candidates will also have IT, numeracy, practical and analytical skills, a clear communication style (both spoken and written), good attention to detail, and above all, must be a team player with a passion to work with a fast-paced professional and friendly team.
