A financial services business based in central London is seeking a legal professional to support with an upcoming project.
This role will be a minimum of 6 months and requires an immediate start.
You will be responsible for assessing and writing complex reports after investigating complaints that will then need to be presented to the decision committee.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
*Exercise judgement on complaints presented
*Use legal expertise to investigate complaints received and produce legally compliant reports
*Present to senior management up to board level to influence committee decision
*Analyse individual complaint cases and produce 'Bespoke' written reports and responses.
*Understand the relevance of evidence in each individual case.
*Use initiative to gather further detail when required.
*Assist to produce outcome letters.
In order to be successful in this role you will possess all or some of the below criteria:
*You will come from a strong legal background
*You will have a legal Qualification - LLB, LLM, LPC
*Experience or knowledge of the banking industry, including regulatory compliance
*Ideally you will have a good understanding of customer remediation in high profile banking programmes.
