This firm is a leading full service commercial firm ranked in the Top 200. They have grown year on year, in part due to several heavy-weight Partner hires. They have a growing International client base.
The firm have a reputation of nurturing and developing legal talent, 50% of all their Partners started at the firm as a trainee, it is this people focussed approach which has given them an unrivalled staff retention rate.
They have a completely open-door policy with Partners seated throughout the open plan office with much more junior staff; this even applies to the CEO. You will find there is no hierarchy with even Paralegals being encouraged to share their thoughts. Just recently a Paralegal undertook a training session for a whole team including Partner.
The Role
This Top 200 Regional Heavyweight firm is seeking to hire a Real Estate Partner into their Reading, Berkshire office.
You will be joining a highly experienced team of eight people. You will deal with a good quality of work, working side on side with Chambers ranked Partners. You will deal with SME right up to National companies.
The client base will vary in size and industry sector, which will make for a much more interesting role. The work will include; Acquisitions and disposals, Landlord and tenant, Investment, Development and commercial leases.
You will be given a platform to build relationships and develop your career.
I feel this firm are one of the best Nationally for giving staff a platform to develop a practice working in real collaboration, with departments working as a team.
This role comes with excellent prospects for progression, for the right candidates even Partnership.
Requirements:
- You will be a Real Estate Solicitor / Partner (there is no upper limit in terms of PQE)
- You will have a strong technical knowledge
- It is essential that you have a good billings history
- You should have good commercial acumen
- You should have first-class communication skills
- Salary is very competitive, depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package and bonus structure
