Corporate Solicitor - NQ role

Another corporate role I hear you cry! Yes, indeed but a fantastic opportunity for a trainee coming up to qualification - why is this different to everything else?

The truth is the differences are subtle. At its heart it probably stems from the culture. Whilst the firm itself has a good critical mass and a great corporate profile both locally and nationally it still retains a collegiate approach to things - a real team dynamic.

It is still a corporate role with a principal emphasis on mainstream M&A into the mid-cap and market and above so all the expectations that come with that exist here. Their work encapsulates any number of sectors but also includes a number of international aspects both in Europe and the US.

What they do is reward performance and effort - the firm and corporate team has a track record of progressing their people up the career ladder without hingeing that requirement on PQE but rather the ability and aptitude to take on responsibility. 

Ideally you will be coming from a larger national or regional practice but they are as comfortable looking at those from boutique and highly regarded practices with a strong corporate transactional pedigree. You will need to have had strong exposure to corporate transaction, have a good level of technical understanding and a strong academic profile.
