The Role
The firm are looking to hire an experienced Commercial Contracts Senior Associate into their office near Cambridge.
The firm pride themselves on client care, so you will benefit from referrals and word of mouth and you will be given full support to build your own client base. They are now looking to move away from billable hours that enjoys significant commercial input and exposure to key executive members.
In this role you will be responsible for working closely with General Counsel and general executive management in a varied role which'll include assisting with the review of client engagement terms, client tender documentation, contractual arrangements with our third-party suppliers and other procurement issues.
There will be a key focus on drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts including data processing agreements, confidentiality agreements, procurement contracts (such as logistics, repair and maintenance, IT, engineering and facilities, consultancy, business services and outsourcing arrangements).
Therefore, you will have broad commercial contracts experience, an excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial contracts whilst being able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Requirements
- You will be an experienced Commercial Contracts Associate or Senior Associate with at least 4 years PQE +
- Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
- You should have first-class communication, outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
