A leading Top 200UK firm with an outstanding national presence are now seeking a talented Construction Partner to join their Cambridge team.
This heavy hitting and expanding full-service law firm are now seeking a Partner through further growth in their Cambridge office. This position has been created through growth to develop this Construction team and ensure the future success of this industry leading Top 200 UK Firm.

The Role
The firm is seeking to hire a Construction Partner to join an expert team of specialist lawyers to handle the complex construction disputes coming through. You will receive industry leading support and the firm will actively encourage your development through mapped out career plans.
This heavy hitting practice will offer a great platform to grow and develop. Therefore, you must be client facing, business development focused and entrepreneurial to increase their Construction offering throughout the Cambridgeshire and East Anglia region.
Although this opportunity will be based around your specialist areas, you will be expected to have a broad knowledge across all areas of contentious and non-contentious Construction including: Experience of adjudication, arbitration and litigation, providing practical and commercial advice at an early stage where projects are in distress. Typical disputes include interim and final payments disputes, Professional negligence claims and issues of delay and defective works.

Requirements
- You will be a Construction Partner with at least 8 years PQE +
- Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
- You should have first-class communication, outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
- A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
- This firm can provide a "team move" should you look to bring your department with you
- Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of PQE, and client base -you will also receive an industry leading benefits package
