Litigation/Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyer (2-7PQE) - Hong Kong

Our client is internationally recognised as having one of the leading offshore insolvency, restructuring and dispute resolution practices of any firm. They are now looking to expand their team in Hong Kong by recruiting an enthusiastic associate with circa 2-7 years post qualification experience to assist on a diverse spectrum of work, with a focus on Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands related restructuring and insolvency issues.

Ideally an England & Wales qualified solicitor or barrister (Australian & New Zealand qualified lawyers will also be considered) applicants will have gained hands on experience in commercial and/or insolvency and restructuring matters, ideally at a recognised international law firm or leading Chambers. Possessing strong analytical and writing skills, you will be a team player able to communicate effectivley with clients and colleagues, taking on responsibility when required. Chinese language skills would be an advantage, but are not essential for this 

The successful candidate will be involved in advising mainly Asian based creditors, debtors and insolvency practitioners on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious corporate and financial restructuring and insolvency, as well as advising clients on a wide range of issues that arise in relation to distressed investment vehicles, in particular hedge funds and private equity funds.
