THE ROLE
Within the Investment Funds group in London which advises on all aspects of investment funds and pooled investment, from the initial structuring of a vehicle, to the legal, regulatory and tax aspects of establishing a fund and then on an on going basis advising in relation to its operation and promotion.
The group has a track record and expertise across a range of investment products (including alternatives to the conventional funds, such as structured products and insurance based products).
Work includes both retail and institutional products, both onshore and offshore products and open and closed ended funds.
The firm has set up funds in the UK and other EU jurisdictions such as Luxembourg and Ireland, and in offshore countries such as Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and the Channel Islands.
They operate across asset classes, with a particular emphasis on real estate funds and infrastructure funds.
The practice is evenly balanced between work on private funds and listed funds.
ABOUT YOU
A first rate Investment Funds lawyer, your experience will have been gained within a top tier firm.
With a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree) and excellent written communication and drafting skills you will have 2-4pqe (or equivalent) and will be seeking a role which offers a broader range of both private and listed funds work with a strong international aspect, within a supportive and friendly working atmosphere.
