JOB TITLE: Data Protection Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 5+ PQE
LOCATION: London
SALARY: Up to £39,000 (equates to £65,000 full time equivalent)

THE ROLE:
As an experienced Data Protection Solicitor you will be in charge of Data Protection to ensure UK and EU data protection, General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 and ensuring these laws and regulations are followed, whilst also finding pragmatic and commercially viable solutions for the organisation. Furthermore, this role will include working to support the General Counsel's directorate, providing advice and support on commercial and corporate law. This opportunity is offered on a part-time basis and offers an exceptional work-life balance.

THE CANDIDATE:
As a qualified Solicitor or Barrister, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience within Data Protection matters and the wider commercial sector. It is essential that you will be eligible to use the title ‘Data Protection Solicitor' within the guidelines of the GDPR legislation. You will be available to work 3 days per week (or equivalent) and will take a pragmatic approach to working. The perfect candidate will be a confident communicator, with effective project and time management skills and a strong emphasis on professionalism.

Felicity Simpson – Consultant (Locum)
