In House Lawyer Job in Bath - 12 Month FTC - Leading Employer
Your new role
This leading international business have a stellar reputation for their work and for being an employer of choice in the South West. They are currently recruiting for an In House lawyer to join their legal team in Bath on a 12 month fixed term contract, possibly longer. You will handle a broad mix of high quality work and represent the company in a variety of contractual negotiations.
As well as undertaking contract reviews and commercial negotiations aimed at minimising business risk, you will enjoy aspects of management of the commercial team, including allocation of workload, monitoring performance and personal development.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a lawyer with 4+ PQE in reviewing contractual terms and/or dispute resolution and will have experience of drafting contracts and strong commercial negotiation skills and will be able to work autonomously and use your initiative to be pro-active in giving advice, whilst prioritising your workload and maintaining strong attention to detail. Knowledge of construction law, including warranties, bonds, novations, joint venture agreements and associated contractual documents, would be desirable. You will ideally be able to start in the next few weeks.
