Job Details
Our client, a highly respected and popular international City law firm, is now looking to recruit a couple of associates at junior and mid level as part of the expansion of the firm's financial services practice, which is looking to grow at all levels. These roles represent a huge opportunity for new associates to play a key role in the further expansion of the practice. There is a very varied breadth of work on offer, more so than at many other leading City practices, ranging from fintech (including payments, e-money, plus new cutting edge tech) right through to the more traditional banking regulatory work (MIFID, etc). The team advises a wide range of domestic and international clients across a number of sectors, ranging in size from start-ups through to major global organisations, dealing with the full range of advice relating to the FCA and PRA rules and regulations as well as the EU financial directives and regulations; advising on fintech/payments/e-money; and assisting clients with FCA supervision issues (etc). Applicants for this position should have a strong academic background, a solid training in financial regulation from another recognised practice and, above all, a real desire to specialise and develop their careers in financial regulation and a keen interest in business development.
