Job Details
We are seeking a legal counsel to join our client, a growing fintech business. You will provide legal support to the business and the successful candidate will collaborate with individuals at all levels throughout all parts of the business and across all regions, although primarily in the UK and Europe. Special focus of the role will be on the new third party payment services.
Your day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing general and commercial legal and regulatory advice to a dynamic business operating in multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on Europe
Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with existing and potential merchants and suppliers, ensuring that all agreements reflect the approved business case and the standard policies and procedures of the organisation
Supporting and advising the business teams on the applicable legal and regulatory framework in the relevant territories
You will have at least four years’ post qualification experience, ideally in an in-house environment. Experience in the following areas would be advantageous: banking, open banking or financial services regulation, gambling regulation, card scheme rules and e-commerce.
