The company

The company are seeking to hire a Residential Property Solicitor looking to work from home whether it's full-time or part-time. Their head office is based in London and they already have many talented conveyancers working from home.

Since the company has launched, it has grown substantially and now stand at a team of 19 talented individuals. Interestingly, they have five staff members who just work on the technology side developing their platform. They are using technology in order to improve customer service and have a tech-enabled workload reduction. This innovative firm has plans to grow substantially and take more market share in the coming years.

There is a Silicon Valley start-up feel throughout the company with a real buzz throughout the office. With them still being a relatively young company now is an exciting time to join, with this growth planned there are excellent career prospects.

Role

The company have a non-hierarchical, collaborative and team focussed approach to the conveyancing work that they undertake. You will lead and mentor a team of four. You will be responsible for nurturing and developing your team helping them to drive their career forwards. This collaborative way of working is a world away from the run of the mill private practice environment. Training and giving individuals a platform to progress is at the heart of the ethos of the business.

This role would really suit a forward-thinking ILEX, Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer that enjoys and embraces technology. Their product is unique, and we feel this is a firm to watch whose offering is ahead of the curve in the conveyancing market.

Requirements

  • You will be an ILEX, Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Working well in a collaborative modern work setting is essential
  • You should be able to run a conveyancing caseload with limited or no supervision as you will be working from home
  • Salary is competitive and negotiable, depending on your level of experience.
