A rapidly expanding and entrepreneurial firm are now seeking a Partner to join their dynamic, forward thinking team in Cambridge. This firm have consistently won Legal & Industry specific awards across their wide-ranging practice areas due to their commercially astute and technically strong staff - many of who are recognised in the Legal 500 & Chambers guides.

They are a leading regional firm with an outstanding client base who contend with the larger national firms, they have achieved this by hiring entrepreneurial Partners who are looking to bring their experience, transferable client base or entire department to a leading firm where they will be rewarded with full autonomy and the backing from a Top200UK Firm.

The Role

The firm are seeking to hire a Family Partner to join their rapidly expanding Cambridge Office.

You will be responsible for building or developing your own client base in the region, adopting the firm's ethos and working alongside the other Partners to build the brand further ensuring future success for your department and the office as a whole.

Therefore, you must be client facing, business development focused and entrepreneurial to increase their Family Law offering throughout the Cambridgeshire and East Anglia region.

They are now looking for a client facing Partner with significant business development experienced to join them in an autonomous role, reporting to the Managing Partner.

Although this opportunity will be based around your specialist areas, you will be expected to have a broad knowledge across all areas of contentious and non-contentious private Family matters including: Divorce, Financial Disputes, Children, Prenuptial and Postnuptial agreements, Civil Partnerships and Injunctions

If you are an experienced Partner seeking the opportunity to build your team from the ground up - this firm will work with you closely to facilitate this offering full support to ensure the future success of your team. Alternatively, this firm can provide a "team move" should you look to bring your talented department with you

Requirements

  • You will be a Family Partner with at least 8 years PQE +
  • Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
  • You should have first-class communication, outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
  • A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
  • This firm can provide a "team move" should you look to bring your department with you
  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of PQE, and client base -you will also receive an industry leading benefits package
