Employment Lawyer/Officer

Our client is a national trade union body. Their regional office for Berkshire requires an Employment Officer to support the members with employment matters.  The ideal candidate will have good employment law experience.

The successful candidate will be required to work from home; expenses will be paid for travel. Meetings with members will take place in Berkshire, possibly also further afield in Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.

They need someone who will hit the ground running with casework, you might typically have up to 40 claims open. In brief the role is -

• Representing members in employment matters including disciplinary hearings, investigatory meetings and grievance hearings.

• Advising on all aspects of employment issues.
