The Client
My client is a law firm with offices nationwide, whose Birmingham/ Reading offices are looking for a tax associate to join their Legal 500 ranked team.
The Role
The teams work is divided between:
Corporate: supporting the corporate teams on the tax implications of private equity and M&A transactions, management team tax planning, restructuring and joint ventures.
Venture capital: supporting the firms leading VCT/ EIS tax practices, structuring investments and ensuring compliance
Real Estate: supporting on SDLT, LBTT, VAT, CIS and capital allowances
Employee incentives: creating and implementing employee incentivisation schemes
The ideal candidate will have completed a seat of their training contract in a specialist tax team, and have career experience in tax.
