Commercial / Technology Paralegal - Growing FinTech

Our client is a growing, award winning FinTech who are looking to hire their first paralegal to join them and work closely with the Head of Legal.



The successful candidate will be embedded in the business and will be heavily involved with supporting a variety of legal and tech related projects. You will need to be a tech savvy and entrepreneurial individual who is able to add value to the team not only from a legal perspective but also strategic. You will be involved in reviewing and amending commercial agreements, assisting with building out the legal function and it's streamlining, create templates and policies as well as researching and developing existing and new policies/templates. You will also be working on regulatory related matters relating to data protection and will be fully immersed in the drive on digital innovation within the company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the tech space and is keen to move into a role which offers a high level of responsibility and excellent prospects for development.



Skills required

• 1-3 years' experience working as a paralegal with a commercial/technology focus in an in-house legal team or relevant team within a leading firm.
• Familiarity with sharepoint systems or similar.

Desirable

• Legal experience gained in the US would be advantageous
• Experience with GDPR / Data protection
