Construction Solicitor with 5 years PQE+ required to join a dynamic team. The practice has enjoyed significant success with the addition of a recent Partner hire and this is an exciting time to join.

This highly recommended Legal 500 firm has recently broken into the Top 100 firms in the UK, after 30 years of trading. This firm currently has 3 offices, notably in Manchester and London and often act on the largest matters outside of Magic circle firms. With recent national awards, this firm is having real success at the moment. London is one of their most recent developments and already stands at over 12 partners. This firm has over 80 partners nationwide. With both domestic and cross-border matters being represented across both Business and private individuals, this firm has offered real clarity to their clients.

The role

The firm is seeking to hire a Construction Senior Associate / Partner into the Manchester City centre office.

You will join a well-established department that deals with the highest quality of work, with a very varied client base which includes the best-known Developers and well-known household brands, recently they have dealt with deals involving several of Manchester most iconic buildings. Fee earners deal with manageable caseloads with a real focus on quality.

You will join a friendly, professional and dynamic team. Real Estate is really in this firms DNA and it is their largest and busiest department, you will work with other Partners to lead the team, whilst also running your own caseload.

The firm are busy on both the contentious and non-contentious sides, so they are looking for candidates on either side, depending on your strengths the team will be able to fit around you

Requirements:

  • You will be a Construction Lawyer with at least 6 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
  • Excellent client care skills are essential
  • Experience of leading and mentoring more junior members of a team is to advantage but is not essential
  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
