The role

The firm are seeking to hire a Senior Commercial / IP Solicitor into their flourishing, Chelmsford office.

You will lead the department, working with the other Partners to drive this team forwards. You will work within a supportive, friendly and dynamic department.

You will work as part of a legal 500, award-winning team. The team is entrepreneurial, dynamic and forward-thinking.

The IP aspect of the role will include advising on trademarks, design rights, patents, IP licensing, brand protection strategies and brand portfolio management. From an IT and commercial law perspective, the role will provide exposure to matters including SAAS agreements and software licences and high value and cross border commercial contracts.

This role comes with good prospects and career developments, including Partnership for the right candidate.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Commercial / IP Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to the level of PQE)
  • Excellent client care skills are essential
  • Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
