Job Details
My US law firm client is looking for a Legal Assistant to provide legal support services to partners, counsels and attorneys on corporate client matter files, with a focus in Hong Kong matters including listings, corporate finance transactions, compliance and mergers & acquisitions.
Qualifications
- Related experience in a law or professional services firm desirable
- Knowledge of relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrates close attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
- Excellent PC skills, WP in both English and Chinese
- Excellent multitasking abilities to work under pressure and tight schedules
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
- Experience/Education
- Bachelor of Laws degree
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (written), English and Mandarin (spoken) essential
