Legal Counsel

Your new company
A leading investment manager with over £10bn of Funds Under Management. The company offers investment management services in the UK, and also internationally. The firm also has operations covering off-shore fund management and administration services.

Your new role
Being part of a small legal team, you will gain exposure to a range of duties and practice areas. The main part of the role will involve drafting and reviewing commercial contracts; from pension and investment management agreements, to technology contracts and outsourcing contracts. The other bulk of the role will be dealing with corporate transactions (acquisitions, disposal, etc.). You will then assist on other legal matters as they arise.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales, or a common law jurisdiction, with around 1-3 years PQE (guide only). You will have extensive experience working on commercial contracts, and some corporate transaction exposure.
