Legal Contracts Manager opportunity for a higher education provider, 4 month contract, London.


Your new company

This prestigious higher educational provider is located in London, and works on world renowned research projects. You will be joining a dedicated team, who have years of experience working on important projects that effect our society. Due to an increase in work load, this institution is recruiting for extra help on their current research project. It will be a 4 month role, with the potential for progression post completion.


Your new role

You will be expected to work within a small team of highly motivated and dedicated people, providing expert advice relating to commercial and research contracts. You will be working closely with your team whilst simultaneously liaising with the senior staff within the institution, reviewing, negotiating and drafting contracts, supporting various project meetings and delivering training events. You will also support junior members of the team, helping develop their careers.


What you'll need to succeed

This institution will require you to be able to hit the ground running, and be able to pick up tasks quickly. You will need to have experience in EU and UK contract law and negotiating contracts, preferably in the public sector. Experience is essential, and as such being a qualified solicitor is not compulsory, but familiarity with contract law and a research background is preferred. You will have strong analytical skills and be able to relay information quickly with strong communication skills driving you forward.
