Childcare Lawyer

LAW Absolute are working with a local authority based in South London who are seeking a locum Childcare Lawyer for three months initially.

The successful Childcare Lawyer will cover a period of maternity leave due to commence at the end of May. The Childcare Team pride themselves on being well respected in the market and provide a high standard of service to their clients.

As a Childcare Lawyer within this team you will be rewarded with a varied and complex caseload consisting of up to 8 care cases with potentially PLO matters and the ability to undertake advocacy where necessary.

Our client is located close to a tube station with a plethora of shops and restaurants in and around the local area. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive working environment and will be expected to hit the ground running.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you will need to be an admitted Solicitor of England and Wales, Barrister called to the Bar of England and Wales with post-call experience, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with a current practising certificate or a qualified Lawyer possessing an equivalent qualification gained in another jurisdiction with sufficient post qualification experience.

It is imperative that you have experience of carrying a public childcare caseload and can start on no more than two weeks’ notice to allow for a handover.
