Illustrious US Firm Offering Cravath Scale Remuneration to Employment Associates in London (1-5 PQE)

We are working with a leading US firm, where not many opportunities arise to join the Employment team in London. 

An opening has now emerged at the firm that is looking to expand its practice, as it is actively seeking associates with between 1 and 5 years of PQE.

The role combines a mixture of transactional, advisory and contentious work, with an emphasis on widespread, international employment issues, redundancies, workforce restructuring, discrimination claims and employment issues in relation to M&A and other corporate governance matters.  Furthermore, the team advises on ARD/TUPE-related matters. 

The vast majority of work on offer is employer-focussed, and considering the stature of the firm and its transactional practices in London, the team advises some of the leading banks and corporations in the market.

The firm offers a salary that is in line with the ‘Cravath’ scale, which is the highest salary band on offer in the market – for an associate with 1 year of post-qualified experience, they can expect a salary of roughly £150,000.

The high-quality work on offer, in addition to frequent blue chip client interaction will only serve as an excellent enhancement with respect to professional and business development potential.

The successful candidate will have prior employer-focussed employment experience gained at a leading international firm in London, and they should a well-rounded experience with respect to the contentious and non-contentious elements of the work.
