Elite US Firm in London: Corporate Private Equity Associates (1-5 PQE) – Cravath Scale Salary

We are working with an elite New York-headquartered firm that is on a recruitment drive into its Corporate team in the London office.

The role is largely private equity-focussed, though there is scope for M&A work in addition to broader and more general corporate matters.  The team works on an extensive range of domestic and cross-border, private equity transactions, advising blue chip private equity firms amongst other leading funds, financial institutions and corporate bodies in the process.

Along with the high-profile work on offer, the firm remunerates associates with salaries pegged at the ‘Cravath’ scale, which is the absolute highest on offer in the market at present – a candidate with 1 PQE can expect a salary of around £150,000 for reference.

The successful candidate will have between 1 and 5 years of PQE, with prior experience gained at a leading international firm in London.  The candidate ought to have general corporate experience at the very least, although private equity experience is beneficial.
