Ranked in the Legal 500 for their Corporate and Commercial department, this firm services a diverse client base from their Essex office. The firm have expanded at an impressive rate and are in a very good regional position. They are looking for an experienced solicitor to join their team.

Ranked in the Legal 500, this firm is one of the largest in Essex with a headcount of over 100 staff across three offices. They are a forward-thinking, dynamic, and progressive company. Despite their size, they have a lovely family feel throughout the firm where staff enjoy coming into work. You will find the staff are heavily invested in; they can offer a springboard for career progression with many Partners being homegrown, there are even free gym facilities in the office. The practice is known for dealing with high-quality work, although it is a cliché, this firm does put the client at the heart of what they do.
The Role
The firm are looking to hire an experienced Corporate Commercial Solicitor for their office near Chelmsford, Essex.
Now is an exciting time to join this office as they have seen significant growth due to a surge of new work, with this will come good prospects for progression.
The Corporate Commercial department are featured in the Legal 500 for their work and the department benefits from a client base of national corporations, start-ups, financial institutions and tech companies. You will work on a caseload of matters including: mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, sales and purchase, group structuring and restructurings, commercial contracts, and corporate governance.
Requirements:
- You will be a Corporate Commercial Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE (there is no upper limit with regards to PQE)
- You will have an excellent technical knowledge of corporate commercial matters and a good billings history
- You will have excellent marketing and business development skills
- This role comes with good prospects for progression
- Salary is negotiable depending on your level of PQE, plus an exceptional benefits package
