Joseph Sutton Solicitors is a niche City firm that punches well above its weight, both in terms of the quality of its work and the calibre of its clients. The firm’s clients range from UHNW individuals, owner-managed businesses and SMEs to multinational / global corporations. The firm’s practice has grown steadily and organically over the years, principally by word of mouth. It will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year.

Owing to expansion, the firm is looking to recruit a 4-6 years' PQE Employment Lawyer. Reporting directly to the managing partner (ranked as a ‘Leading Individual’ in Chambers & Partners UK for four years’ running, 2015-2018), candidates should have experience of both contentious and advisory work and, ideally, some transactional. Experience of High Court litigation would be a plus. Candidates must have a strong academic background and be aspirational and self-motivated. The successful candidate would work as part of a small, busy team and have realistic fee targets and the potential to earn generous fee-based commission. Although the role is full-time, the firm would consider part-time.
