FINANCIAL SERVICES IN-HOUSE LAWYER - RUSSIAN & FCA EXPERIENCE

We have been instructed by an FCA regulated brokerage and investment firm with HQ in London and offices in Moscow to recruit a Financial Services Lawyer to be based in London, reporting into the General Counsel. The firm is part of a large group of companies and the London office helps both UK and global institutional clients gain access to emerging markets opportunities. The corporate culture is one of openness and transparency and the London business is going from strength to strength.

The successful candidate must be bilingual Russian and is likely to be Russian qualified (English qualification will be a bonus). You will work on bespoke financial arrangements under English and Russian law, mostly with Russian financial institutions such as the Russian Exchange, brokers, clearing houses and settlement depositaries and Russian clients.

You must have prior experience of regulated financial services and/or brokerage, either from private practice or in-house and you should have prior experience of working in the UK.
