Senior Legal Counsel
Our Manchester based client is an award winning service provider to business customers throughout the UK and Europe. It is one of the leading providers in the market and it is trusted by a clientele that includes multinationals, major industrial companies, public bodies and SMEs.
Role - Senior Legal Counsel:
Reporting into the Head of Legal but very much with an autonomous role, the Senior Legal Counsel will help to provide general legal support to the business. This will include: general commercial legal advice; reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements; advising on disputes; developing and updating legal policies; providing training on legal issues; dealing with competition law and data protection matters; and helping with company secretarial and corporate governance matters amongst other ad hoc duties.
The role is open to individuals looking to work full-time or part-time (4 days or equivalent).
Applicants for the role of Senior Legal Counsel are expected to have 5 years' PQE upwards of experience reviewing, negotiating and concluding a range of commercial contracts. You should be comfortable assuming a role with a high level of autonomy, and you should want to get involved in the supervision of more junior team members.
