Job Details

My client is a listed FTSE 250 exploration business with extensive operations across EMEA. The business is in a very interesting and complex phase at the moment, and requires an interim General Counsel and Company Secretary for a minimum period of 6 months. The role may be extended or become permanent in due course, but the immediate requirement is for a very experienced pair of hands that can hit the ground running and comfortably manage a legal team and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Infrastructure/Extractives industry experience within developing markets
  • UK Governance experience
  • Strong leadership abilities

We expect the ideal candidate to formerly have been a General Counsel or a private practice Partner with a track-record in the relevant industries.
