The role

The firm are seeking to hire a Construction Senior Associate / Partner into the Manchester City centre office.

You will lead the department, working with the other Partners to drive this team forwards. You will work within a supportive, friendly and dynamic department.

The firm has one of the largest and strongest real estate practices outside of London. You will have experience of adjudication, arbitration and litigation in the TCC as well as the ability to give practical and commercial advice at an early stage where projects are in distress. commercial advice at an early stage where projects are in distress. Typical disputes include interim and final payments disputes, professional negligence claims and issues of delay and defective works.

The team act for employers (corporates and high net worth individuals), construction professionals, contractors and sub-contractors and the successful candidate can look forward to a broad range of quality work across various sectors;

Requirements:

• You will be a Construction Lawyer with at least 6 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
• Excellent client care skills are essential
• Experience of leading and mentoring more junior members of a team is to advantage but is not essential
