About Us
This leading consumer brands business company is perhaps not the first company which comes to mind for a banking lawyer; however, as one of the largest employers in the UK, this is a rare opportunity to advise both a corporate group and its bank subsidiary in a url which sits in the company’s Group Finance & Treasury team.
About the Role
The remit of the role is genuinely varied, from strategising and implementing finance legal policy throughout the group to executing transactions. The role also involves advising on banking regulation, derivatives and capital markets and influencing key stakeholders on strategy and systems.
About You
The role will suit an individual with a banking and finance background who is ideally looking to work with a consumer business. The company is open to individuals with technical experience ranging from loans (investment grade or leveraged); Debt Capital Markets and/or Securitisation. You will need to have strong relationship development skills and be able to work on complicated finance matters often with a non-legal audience.
This is a truly unique opportunity for a banking and finance lawyer to join a consumer focussed business in a key role for the company’s treasury and finance team.
