We are working with a leading international firm in the Middle East that is on a recruitment drive into its Corporate and Employment teams.
The firm is specifically targeting UK-qualified NQs that are seeking to capitalise upon an attractive relocation prospect in moving to the Middle East.
The Middle East’s mushrooming economy, in addition to incredible tax-free packages, established ex-pat lifestyle and warm climate has made the region extremely appealing for UK-based lawyers.
While the work is more corporate-focussed, the associate will be working across both the Corporate and Employment teams. The corporate element is fairly broad and all-encompassing, although there is an emphasis on structuring work – the tie in to the Employment department is through employment issues related to corporate transactions. The employment aspect of the role covers the spectrum of employment and immigration matters, and so there is a balance between contentious, advisory and transactional work.
The opportunity to advise some of the largest multinational corporations and other leading employers will prove invaluable for a candidate’s professional and career development.
The successful candidate must have completed a corporate and/or employment seat at a leading firm in London or any other regional hub. Applications are also welcome from candidates who are due to qualify in September 2019. The candidate must also be committed to remaining in the Middle East over the long-term.
