Construction Solicitor Role, up to £75000 per annum
Your new company
Niche City firm specialising in construction, litigation and real estate development, which is at the heart of the business and makes up a major part of the firm's client base. This is an opportunity for an ambitious construction solicitor to join a busy team and work on some very impressive disputes cases. This firm is known for their progression opportunities and great working environment. Over the past few years, they have grown significantly and now have approximately 230 staff, along with an expanding international reach.
Your new role
The firm is ideally looking for a 2-4 PQE associate (please appreciate this is a guideline) to join their busy construction team. They have a great story to tell on promotion and progression of solicitors into partnership, particularly in Construction, and are consistently making this a reality for their employees. The role itself will incorporate advising on and amending every aspect of construction contracts, drafting submissions for adjudication and arbitration proceedings whilst managing proceedings in the Technology & Construction Court. An element of your role will also be to prepare and deliver seminars and contribute to the department's publications, however this is not an extensive list.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be predominantly dealing with contentious construction work, however exposure to non-contentious work would put you in a good position with your application. You will be tenacious, and willing to be part of a busy team looking to grow significantly. You will have extensive experience within the required field and be looking for long term progression in your next role.
What you'll get in return
You'll get to join this firm at a very exciting time in their growth plans, they will reward extremely well and offer their employees flexibility and a great quality of work. This is a very well renowned city firm, with an excellent reputation for their career development and treatment of staff, whilst also being in an accessible and nice location.
